Who qualifies
for this Permit |
Spouses and dependent minor children
of South African citizens/residence who has the intention
to reside with their spouse in South Africa may apply
for a relatives permit. |

| No fee applicable for spouse or dependent
minor child of a South African citizen or resident. |

| The requirements listed under Part A and
Part O of form BI-1738 must be submitted. |
| How long does an
application take to process |
| The processing period is 10 days subject
to submission of a complete application. |
| Where can an application
be submitted and how can application be submitted? |
- Application can be submitted in person at the Consulate-General
(Dubai). We are located in Bur Dubai In Khalled bin
al Walled Street (also called Bank Street) in the
new Sharaf Building on the 3rd Floor. The Consulate-General
is opposite the Burjuman Centre and next to South
African Airways building.
- Our Public hours is from 08:30 to 12:30 Sundays
to Thursdays. We are closed on a Friday & Saturday.
Our Ramadan hours is from 09:30 to 12:00.
